Westar to Buy More Energy From Kansas Wind Farms
Westar, Kansas’ largest electricity provider, said it had agreements to buy wind energy from two companies that will build two wind farms in Kansas. Together they will have the capacity to generate 369 megawatts of electricity, roughly enough to supply 125,000 homes.
