Sweetwater, TX

Immense opportunities are on the horizon, offering the promise of comprehensive revitalization for our communities and our region. With the rapid evolution of technology, public opinion, and political will, 2009 could be a milestone year for the Great Plains and the Southwest as we move forward in infrastructure development, renewable energy investments, job creation, and regional community revitalization.

Toward that end, we are convening a regional strategy session – the Great Plains & Southwest Energy Summit – in Sweetwater, Texas, on February 19-20, 2009. We realize that time is short until this gathering, but the pace of events dictates that all of us prepare quickly for the pending opportunities.

The Summit will involve panels of regional & industry leaders in open discussions related to economic development, infrastructure deployment, community preparedness, and political climate.

You are invited to join a select number of leaders from the Great Plains, the Southwest, the energy and infrastructure industries, and the policy field. We hope that you will join us at this unique conference – where a nucleus of regional leaders will strategize for the intensive opportunities ahead.

We are hosting the Summit in the midst of the world’s most intensive wind energy development & operations area, so that participants can visualize the magnitude of benefits awaiting communities throughout the Great Plains and the Southwest. Let’s prepare to build the future together.
